Description
This is one of the last Peavey amps that were made in America. They're built like a brick outhouse and very reliable. This one has a couple of things of note: At some stage in it's history something hit the front of it. The 'Peavey' logo is missing and the speaker was damaged. The cone has been patched. It's not noticable until (and unless) you turn it up VERY loud when some distortion can be heard. (However some people pay big money to get their guitar's sound distorted...) Also the sound crackles sometimes unless there is a patch cable in the effects loop. This is most likely just dirty contacts but I don't have a can of contact cleaner at the moment so will include the (red) patch cable that's fitted in the pics. It's worth Googling this amp as they're very highly regarded and not easy to find these days.

I would give you a serious bid if you would ship to SI t******e (171 • 05:38 am, Sat, 4 May )Thanks for the offer Mark but it weighs 40kg (at a guess). Also the reason I'm selling it is I'm an invalid who has been given notice in this rental. I don't have the time to package it up and get it ready to ship. You don't know anyone up this way who could do it for you? Cheers. misfit (433 • Saturday, 4 May 2024 )Bandits weigh a bit over 20kgs, I have shipped a few of them across the islands without issue. The trick in packing them is to wrap either cardboard or bubble wrap around the front and back. Leaving the feet and handle for use. I can book the courier for pick up. t******e (171 • 11:05 am, Sat, 4 May )Heya. If you're happy with that method of packing and if the amp goes for at least $75 then I'll pack like that for pickup. Cheers. misfit (433 • Saturday, 4 May 2024 )Done t******e (171 • 12:43 pm, Sat, 4 May )Thanks. misfit (433 • Saturday, 4 May 2024 )
