The vinyl is in very good condition for its age. There are scuffs and light scratches on the surface of both sides. There is no warping or any other damage. It plays very well with light surface noise and the occasional popping noise consistent with a record this age. There is no skipping or jumping and it will play right through both sides apart from a very light jump at the beginning of "Heartbreak Hotel" and also at the end of "Any Way You Want Me". The cover is in reasonably good condition. It has some tears with edge and surface damage. The cover is also split about halfway along the bottom and top edges. As the cover is a very light card it is more susceptible to damage than the hard card of later LPs. To find a copy with a mint cover is very very rare. Most covers will be in a similar condition to this one, maybe slightly worse or better The record slip is also original and is in very good condition with some writing on both sides.

This record is very rare and is one of three albums that were released on HMV in the UK in 1957 before RCA took over and then released all of Elvis's LP records on their own label. This is totally original and definitely not a reissue.

NOTE: This record will be sent backed against hard card with bubble wrap and will be fully protected from any damage including moisture.
