Very very rare and collectible!

Very large 33cm tall. A Uranium Genuine and original c1860 Antique Victorian Pale Green Translucent/Opaque Very Rare Mantle Lustre (a candleholder) with white raised enamelling and gold gilt motifs over blue enamel, triangular cut rim edges, Mouth blown not moulded. With 10 original hand cut, long 4 sided crystal heavy prisms ruffle cut and hanging with separate emerald shaped crystal heads. Main body is in fine condition with no chips or cracks or any damage at all! Two prisms have a small chip on top inside barely noticeable, several prisms have small chips on base of pointe but small and barely noticeable. One prism has a chip on the side of the point. Mentioned for accuracy as this is a very, very old item in crystal and glass – amazing it has survived at all.

These are almost impossible to find and to find one in this excellent condition is quite rare.

Lustres - Mantle and table decorations, or pedestal vases, lustres (American spelling is Luster) have hanging glass prisms. Those with one row of prisms are more common, while the double hung prisms are rarer and usually more costly. Their name refers to the prisms. A single glass prism is a lustre. These were always expensive and were usually found in only the more prominent homes. This is still true today, with some of the more affluent homes owning several pair.

Lustre is 33cm tall, 16cm wide at widest point, and prisms are 21.5cm long and 2cm wide at widest point.
