A wonderful piece of very collectable New Zealand Studio Pottery by highly regarded Potter Juliet Peter. ( 1915 -2010)
A great form in this stoneware slab built lidded potpourri ...beautifully signed to its base.
Juliet Peter along with her husband Roy Cowan both played a significant and important part in the New Zealand Art Scene both with their Sculptural Pottery and Painting... creating their own unique take on modernism.
This piece by Juliet is in great condition with no cracks or chips and stands 165mm tall by 115mm square.
