This is a rare opportunity to buy a complete teaset in a gorgeous pattern. All pieces are in very good condition. This will impress people who've never seen anything like this before.

The set comes complete with it's original cardboard packaging and consists of:

6 cups 6 'lilypad' shape saucers 6 cake plates Teapot Milk/water jug & lid Sugar bowl & lid

The set is 40's-50's era and has a beautiful pale blue base overstamped with a chrysanthemum design in dark blue and silver. This has then been further enhanced with white and medium blue to make the design pop. The silver is in good condition given the age.

5 of the tea cups have the Geisha in the base of the cup. One does not, and instead has the makers mark. Perfect for playing a game over tea - the person without the geisha has to spill a secret!

The set looks to be unused, there are no tea stains or other usage marks that I can see. I've not been able to find any cracks or crazing. Some colour splashes/misalignment/unevenness, all from the original manufacturing - see photos.
