Have you ever thought about the giving the Coast to Coast race a go? If you have, then you will need a grade 2 whitewater certification to enter.

Starting with the basics of kayak knowledge, progressing through whitewater technique, and finishing up with river running; this course covers the skills that you need to know for multisport racing.

• Coast to Coast approved
• Kayak: this course is done in whitewater and multisport kayaks. We supply the whitewater kayaks but you will need your own multisport kayak. If you would like to purchase a Ruahine Kayak, talk to me about a deal.
• Location: rivers throughout the Bay of Plenty (within 2 hours drive of Tauranga)
• Details: 3 days - day 1 on flat water and in a pool, day 2&3 on whitewater (more if necessary but at extra cost).
• Dates: 2nd and 4th weekend of every month as well as any week days.
• The flatwater can be completed as a single day or broken up into lessons.
• Includes our rolling Clinic (aprox 3 hours). I like all customers to do this because it gets them comfortable with the water and the rails of the kayak. You won't fail if you can't roll, it's just a highly desirable technique to start to learn.
• Bookings are essential.
• Equipment: you will need your own personal kit and multisport kayak. We can offer a package price for all recommended equipment.
