Many legends competed including John Surtees (Lola), Innes Ireland (Ferguson), Chris Amon (Cooper), Jack Brabham (Brabham) and Bruce McLaren (Cooper). Other classes on the day included Motor Cycles, Saloon Cars, Sports Cars, and Motor racing Club Championship. A selection of drivers include R. Coppins (Tec Mec), M Stanton (Stanton Corvette), F. E. Sprague (Ford Zephyr), R. Archibald (Jaguar), r. Sylvester (Chev Coupe), and G. McRae (Masarrari).
