Description
Very, very sad to let my loyal drysuit go. But I'm relocating overseas where the water temperatures are almost tropical, so I won't be needing it.
It's 4mm Japanese quality neoprene, so you won't need as many undergarments as with tri-lam suits. I usually go SCUBA diving on a fleece and sports pants.
If you've ever being cold on NZ waters, diving on a dry suit will be the end of that!
Note: you must be qualified or seek proper training before diving with any dry suit (because your buoyancy is affected when you inflate the suit, so you have to get used to releasing air from it when ascending).
I reckon this particular model is perhaps the most gentle of the dry suits: it has two valves on the left arm, plus one exhaust valve on each heel, minimising the risk of ending feet-up and/or rocketing to the surface like a balloon.
I've used it less than 50 dives, always very carefully rinsed it, and looking after the neck and seals (which are all in mint condition). The only slight wear marks are the white-ish spots you can see around the joints on the photos.
I'm 170cm tall and it's a bit loose (it would definitely fit someone a tap taller; on the photo you can see it's hanging from a normal-size door frame). There's plenty of room around the waist too, and the neoprene on the wrists was never cut, so you can tailor it to suit you.
The suit is 160cm to the base of the neck (70cm from crotch to neck).
Integrated boots, still plenty of sole (you can see this on the photos). Shoe size is 27.
Sorry, I'm in the middle of a relocation overseas, so no shipping or delivery; it must be collected from Milford, North Shore, on Wednesday the 29th, any time between 10am and 10pm.
(I paid $1,300 NZD when new)
