About the store
For 70 years Jacks have been supplying quality machinery to NZ’s woodworking trades, earning the trust of timber processors, joiners, cabinetmakers and builders, large and small, right down to home shops. We also supply equipment for aluminium and plastics fabrication. We always have a wide range of secondhand machines available too.

Medium or large companies can rely on machines from Austria’s Felder Group (including Felder, Format-4 and Hammer). We also represent Homag edgebanders and Weinmann machinery for frames, trusses and prefabricated buildings, both being industry leaders based in Germany. Jacks have also been supplying Weinig timber processing equipment since 1972. In addition to its famous moulders Weinig also supply band resaws, Dimter optimising crosscut saws, GreCon finger jointers, Raimann ripsaws, Luxscan scanners, window production systems and edge lamination plants. Uniquely tailored CNC machines are available from both Vitap in Italy and Anderson from Taiwan.
We supply Yilmaz equipment for the fabrication of aluminium and plastics.
Finally, a word about after sales service. We invest heavily in factory training for our technicians. The Jacks Service team is NZ’s largest and most experienced. We service everything we sell, and quite a bit we don’t, as well as carrying a huge stock of parts.
