This is an investment in top-of-the-line luxury in,arguably the best resort in the Bay of Islands. It has a great central location in the township,close to the water,shops,ferries and restaurants.

You buy a perpetual ownership right to a penthouse unit for one Friday to Friday week each year except for three weeks over Christmas. You can use it,rent it, resell it or use it for staff rewards etc as you wish.

There are only 3 penthouse units. You book up to six months ahead and there may have to be a ballot but we have almost always got the top unit at the time we want it. The photos are of this unit.

Any of the 3 penthouses is a wonderful air-conditioned home with all day sun. All have the same facilities of an up-market home with crystal glassware, high quality linen, kitchen, laundry, barbeque, spa, bidet and multifauceted shower with the master bedroom, another bathroom and bedroom. A sofa folds out to a double bed to accomodate a total of 7. There is a huge amount of space internally and with its own huge deck.

There are all the sorts of things you would expect in this level of resort - kayaks, bicycles,games room with billiards, table tennis, library and the like. Also covered car parks, lifts,solar-heated swimming pool,sauna,communal spa and gathering area.

It is beautifully maintained and managed. The maintenance fee of NZ$1142 is paid to 31/12/17.

You would pay for the transfer costs - $1350 was quoted by the only solicitor I have asked.
