1880's Prattware Pot Lid. Ebonised Porthole Style Timber Frame.

A framed Prattware pot lid showing a romantic scene of a man and woman talking . it has an inscription “No by heaven I exclaimed may I perish if ever I plant in the bosom a thorn".
Circa 1880. The frame measures 5.8? in diameter and the lid measures 4.12? in diameter. The piece is in excellent condition with a good quality frame.
