ST. HELEN'S (WP) "A" CLASS POSTMARKS OF 1920'S AND 1950'S STAMPS. (2)
This Post Office in the Westport Postal District and was open from 1903 until 1925. with the spelling having an apostrophe during this period. How the 1951 Health stamp which was issued in 1951 is difficult to know but with an apostrophe on the stamp example, they must have retained both spelling types untill they closed the office in 1959.
Wooders rates the office as 4 for scarcity which makes it a very relatively common postmark.
