We sell a large range of used books – fiction, non-fiction, a bit of everything.   We are based in Wellington, and ship books all over the world.   Our motto is ‘Great Books Made Easy’.    

  Trash Palace was established by the Porirua City Council in 2002, to accept generous donations from the public and sell or recycle them rather than have them go to a landfill.   Still run today in conjunction with the Council, our retail shop at 20 Broken Hill Road, Porirua is now complemented by our online TradeMe store – all providing the public with great value second-hand goods at great prices while also doing our bit for the environment.   Our retail shop is open Monday-Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm. It is only ever closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday, and until 1pm on ANZAC day.   Our TradeMe store is of course open 24/7
