  This is a NZ family-owned store selling the world-renowned Stieff plush animals product line. My plush animals played a vital role in my childhood, and I developed a deep relationship with them. I spent much time with each new toy to come up with its own name and distinctive personality. Some were early risers, some loved to sing, and others loved to be read to.   This imaginary world was the one thing I could control and a source of comfort, security and stability in a stressful world that was more than I could cope with. One day I was looking at a Teddy bear and the first name that popped into my head was “Snookerdoodle”.  It was perfect for a soft cuddly friend. So that became the inspiration for my store, with the hope that it will bring a similar comfort and joy to other children.   As a teenager I continued to value my plush animals. I saved my money and bought myself a collectable Steiff leopard that I still haven’t forgotten. Not much has changed since those days - the world certainly isn’t any less stressful and children still need a safe way to retreat from it into the magical world of their imagination.   Snookerdoodle is about providing that comfort of a familiar friendly face to snuggle up to and the world famous Steiff reputation is about safety, quality, and life-time memories for your children and for adult collectables.
