  Trash Palace was established by the Porirua City Council in 2002, to accept generous donations from the public and sell or recycle them rather than have them go to a landfill.   Still run today in conjunction with the Council, our retail shop at 20 Broken Hill Road, Porirua is now complemented by our online TradeMe store – all providing the public with great value second-hand goods at great prices while also doing our bit for the environment.   Our retail shop is open Monday-Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm. It is only ever closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday, and until 1pm on ANZAC day.   Our TradeMe store is of course open 24/7
