Succulent Spit Roasters was established in December 2009 by Phil Lash.

With steady growth in sales year on year the business provides catering services in the Nelson/Tasman region to three target markets

• Corporate company’s requiring external caterers for events.
• General function catering for Christmas and Seasonal parties such as birthdays, anniversaries & milestones
• Wedding catering.
• 5 weeks catering Hop workers every day .

Spit roast catering appeals to a wide target market and the company has prided itself on providing well portioned good KIWI tucker for over 15 years. The brand is well known in the local market with repeat business every season.

Over the past 15 years the business has invested in plant and equipment enabling it to cater for events up to 700 people, this investment has had a healthy impact on profit margins.

Reason for Selling

Because of moving to the Westcoast i now wish to sell the business as a going concern due to the following:

• Spitroasters has much more potential and the Directors are unable to allocate the time it deserves to scale due to other business interests requiring energy and focus.
