Diesel engine.

Starts first time.

No unusual engine noises.

It does puff some smoke after starting, improves once running, consistent with an older diesel engine – I have a video of it running.

Hydrostatic transmission (like an automatic transmission), it has a forward and reverse pedal.

High and low gear ratios.

Differential lock.

Selectable two- and four-wheel drive.

Rear and mid PTO.

Hydraulics / 3-point linkage.

Drawbar.

All fluids full, it starts, runs, drives, and systems operate as expected.

A few things to note:

1. Brakes do work but are average - they’re not required much with the hydrostatic transmission.
2. Front headlights and the horn don’t work.
3. Has a drip of diesel from one of the fuel lines, doesn’t cause any harm.
4. The clutch release bearing is a bit noisy, only when pushing down on the clutch pedal, but still operates fine (the clutch is only used to change PTO settings and gear ratio – it is not required for normal driving).
