Historic church and presbytery for sale: Choose one or both
From their elevated position, the former St Patrick’s Church and Catholic presbytery have a commanding presence.

Originally on one title, the property was subdivided by current owners, Alexandra and Thomas Ehret. The presbytery and church can be bought separately.
The handcarved timber stairs lead to the four bedrooms on the second storey.
The owners have renovated the presbytery extensively, in keeping with the heritage character.
The couple still use the original coal range (centre left), saying they enjoy the warmth of the fire, and like to use it for cooking. They have kept the original rimu cabinetry.
Every room has its own distinctive character.
This bedroom has a traditional Sanderson hunting wallpaper. There are wide views from all the bedrooms.
The church has a grand entry, and would be an ideal function centre.
‘So much potential’
These windows were believed to have been destined for a church in Australia “back in the day”, but were diverted to St Patricks Church in Lawrence.
Handcrafted detailing is evident everywhere.
