Our eighth annual report which analyses every data release made over the last year (1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020)

Like many New Zealand-based companies, Trade Me receives enquiries for information from government agencies to assist them with their responsibilities to maintain the law. Our transparency reporting details the requests for Trade Me members’ data from the New Zealand Police and government agencies.
Today we’re releasing our eighth annual report which analyses every data release made over the last year (1 July 2019 - 30 June 2020). We release this information because we think it’s the right thing to do and Kiwis deserve to know who is requesting their information.
