Security announcement
There is currently an email circulating, that appears to be from Trade Me, asking you to confirm your details. It directs you to a site that looks like Trade Me and asks you to log in. This is not from Trade Me.
Please be extra careful, to stay safe make sure the address in your browser starts with https://www.trademe.co.nz/... each time you login.
If you have already responded to the email please change your password immediately and contact us if there are any remaining problems.
Category changes
We have introduced a number of new categories under Businesses for sale. Listings cost $49.95 and you can re-list until it sells.
Domain names can now be sold using either a classified or auction, all Domain name listings cost $19.95.
Category changes
We will be making a number of category changes across the site today. If your item was listed in any of the categories that have been changed, you will be prompted to choose a different category when relisting. All of the other auction details including your photo will be carried over. If you have any feedback, please use the "contact us" link.
Suppression Orders
If you haven't picked up on it yet, we have been asked to remove postings which violate the suppression orders relating to the Louise Nicholas case. The courts and the police have asked us to remove and archive any threads containing potential breaches. To save us a lot of time, and yourself a lot of potential hassle we ask that you quit posting suppressed information on Trade Me.
