Auto-extend will be reduced to 2 minutes
As a result of our recent poll, auto-extend will be reduced to 2 minutes from midday on Monday the 2nd of February.
This means if a seller has selected for an auction to auto-extend, the auction will extend by 2 minutes if bids are placed in the last 2 minutes.
New bid increments
We have introduced some new bid increments for bids over $500.

Auction description length has doubled
The length of you auction description can now be up to 2048 characters long.
Stored Searches
Stored Searches
You can now save your favourite searches and categories and get emailed new listings daily. You can also choose not to be emailed. Whenever you run a search you will be able to add it to your favourite searches, by clicking the link at the top right. You can save up to 10 favourite searches.
You can manage all your favourite categories and searches from the My Favourites link on the My Trade Me page.
Free Gallery for Trade Me Motors
All auctions and classifieds, with photos, in Trade Me Motors will now have free Gallery. $19.95 is all you pay for up to three photos including your gallery picture.
