Planar drivers operate via a matrix of neodymium magnets that both push and pull from both sides of the diaphragm across its entire surface area, creating a broad wavefront akin to what your ears encounter in the natural world. These symmetrical vibrations are responsible for Planar the II’s tight bass, ultra-low distortion, and incredible frequency response.
