The house gets all day sun, with the bedrooms, dining room and lounge positioned on the sunny side of the house. It stays warm with a heat pump, full insulation, HRV and double glazing through part of the house (and plans to double glaze the rest of the house). The kitchen has great storage and bench space and there’s a vege garden out back that you’d be welcome to use or add to. The room is freshly painted and has a large inbuilt wardrobe. It is furnished with a brand new Queen size bed. Rent cost includes basic shared items such as rubbish bags, paper towels, loo paper etc. Power and internet additional. No pets sorry but must be okay with a dog. You’ll be living with myself, a female young professional in late 20s, interested in cooking, mountain biking, and beach walks. An ideal flatmate would be a young professional working full time, keen for a friendly, warm feeling environment. Happy doing your own thing but also keen for a chat at the end of the day. Musselburgh is a lovely quiet neighbourhood, convenient to town, the Otago peninsular, and local beaches. The harbour cycleway is right on the door step, both Tomahawk beach and Smaill’s beach a few minutes away, and St Clair a 5 minute drive. There is a bus stop nearby and local shops include a pharmacy, dairy, bakery with supermarkets just around the corner within walking distance.
