Modern 2 story house situated on a 22 hectare block of land that’s home to Haven Mountain Park, 30km trails to bike, run, walk and explore. This is a warm sunny, modern house complete with logfire, dishwasher, projector, large screen and unlimited broadband. We also have a Library with TV, server and playstation. There is a medium sized room available (queen size), unfurnished (however furnished is also available if required). You will be living with a couple of housemates who are easy going 40-something professionals, house trained, friendly and good fun, as well as sharing with three full of character cats and two fun loving outside Labradors. The ideal housemate would be a non smoker with no pets (we already have enough of them), someone with a great sense of humour who loves the calming effect of the great outdoors, who is also house trained and easy going. This is the best of both worlds right here; the rural wilderness outside with amazing views, but close the curtains and you could be in any suburb in the city. Surprisingly, we are not that far out of town with the local cafe only 5 mins away, Tai Tapu 10 mins, Lincoln 15 mins and Christchurch 30 mins. (with hardly any traffic on the road that’s less time on the road to work than if you lived in the city!) A very reasonable rent will include living in a fabulous house with simply amazing views and awesome housemates as well as power, heating, gas and internet.
