Description
This a really damn cool replica of Isama Noguchi's 24N Akari lamp. Noguchi, a Japanese-American artist and landscape architect, attained fame alongside the likes of Charles Eames and George Nelson for his designs.
We have loved it for the last year after we purchased it brand new, but are just offloading it because we are moving and cycling through some furniture for the new place.
It's handmade - constructed from bamboo and iron. There are no marks, holes or imperfections except for a rust mark the size of a fingertip on the inside of the shade, on the bottom of the lamp. It's completely unnoticeable unless you go looking for it.
We're happy to take offers if you can't be bothered waiting for the auction to finish (but obviously can't as soon as a bid has been made).
Approximately 60cm tall x 35 cm in diameter.
Happy to deliver in Auckland CBD, and possibly further out for a small fee, depending on the location.
We have a couple of other $1 Reserve listings up too.
