Hi, can you post a close up picture of part of the rug as very difficult to see how thick the pile is. Also a close up picture of the back of the rug please. Is there any fading or worn patches? and as a test to ascertain if it is wool or acrylic - light a match near the pile on the edge or a few seconds, if it melts it is acrylic and if it is wool it will just smell:) Huge thanks s****6 (750) • 11:13 am, Wed, 24 Apr

Thanks, I never said it was hand stitched. Re the acrylic versus wool, I followed your suggestion re the match and it smelt just like burnt wool. Reminded me of the smell from tailing lambs back in the day. With this said, I didn’t hold the match on there very long as I didn’t want to damage it so I’m not 100% sure what it’s made of but hopefully that assists. lozzarini (146) • Thursday, 25 April 2024
