There are two ways this handy piece of furniture can be used ... as a coffee table, side-table - or fold away the legs and just use the tray (it has handle slots) to serve morning or afternoon teas, high teas or a light lunch for two .... It sits nicely on a larger coffee table. The tray measures 55 cns across and sits at 5cms high on its base. Intricately-woven wicker and flax-like fibres - all in excellent undamaged condition. I do not know what the timber is, but it's sturdy and stained in a mahogany reddish-brown. There are a few nicks in the stain that would be easily concealed with a good rub with a walnut and furniture wax. They're not particularly noticeable.
