Description
Welcome to our weekly $1 reserve auctions.
Here we have a Walker MDSD Zero Turn Mower that is being auctioned off on behalf of a major insurance company after it was accidently reversed into. We understand its been to a shop to the be looked at and the shop suggests it needs a new hydro, but the part wasn't available .
This auction is going to suit someone who wants a zero turn and may have the knowhow to refurb the hydro or know where to get a replacement etc.
Looking at the mower, it does need a bit of a tidy up. i.e the rear tyre is flat, the front deck wheels are broken (the small guide wheels at the very front of the deck, see last photo)
As with all insurance claimed items we auction off, the winner bidder will need to get it professionally inspected prior to use (for safeties sake)
Inspections are welcomed and recommended prior to bidding, Viewing is off site in Penrose, so is by prior arrangement - Google us to arrange an appointment.
Feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding and we will do our best to answer them
Made in the USA Weight: 240kg Engine: 18hp/13.4kw Year: 2005 Serial: 72689

Does it drive and start o.k? b********s (437 • 09:13 pm, Wed, 17 Apr )Starts, doesn’t drive to well as the hydro needs replacing twice_nz (8786 • Wednesday, 17 April 2024 )Can you please take a couple of photos of the underside of the deck so we know what we are buying? (You just wiggle the levers/ pins on the deck - immediately in front of the biggest wheels, with red rubber on the levers - out, then take the "handle/ bar on the decks front edge and lift it. Keep your back straight as it's heavy. Then clip it in the vertical position securely using the spring loaded clip thingy. Thanks very much :) g************s (445 • 09:22 pm, Wed, 17 Apr )Scroll through photos, I’m sure the underside of the deck is there. twice_nz (8786 • Wednesday, 17 April 2024 )Can you please take a couple of photos of the underside of the deck so we know what we are buying? (As I have a spare LH one so would pay more if I don't have to buy a brand new PAIR. (Can't replace just one, as one new and one worn just goes round in circles.. cost me $just under $5k for a pair.. hence I have a spare LH hydro i can use, yay!!:) g************s (445 • 09:26 pm, Wed, 17 Apr )The delivery guy said it was Left, Which seemed too much like a dream for you, so I’ve just gone to check it out earlier today, when pulling back on the right handle is normal, when pulling back on the left handle, has some grinding/scraping noise - assume that’s the hydro (I’m not the most knowledgeable around mowers, but hopefully this info helps you) twice_nz (8786 • Wednesday, 17 April 2024 )Oh yes, that's great, cheers! :( g************s (445 • 09:27 pm, Wed, 17 Apr )No worries twice_nz (8786 • Wednesday, 17 April 2024 )Is this an MDSD or more likely, an MBSD? Is it the original mowing deck, how many hours has the mower done? p****p (175 • 10:22 am, Thu, 18 Apr )Just check the tag, it is the MBSD twice_nz (8786 • Thursday, 18 April 2024 )Sorry, missed the hours... p****p (175 • 10:23 am, Thu, 18 Apr )No worries twice_nz (8786 • Thursday, 18 April 2024 )Where to view?
