Pure luxury to drive, sleek, smooth and powerful. I have owned this for nearly 3 years as my regular use car with mostly rural driving. I have loved owning and driving it so much I have just upgraded to a later model of exactly the same thing to get the same pleasure for the next 3 years (the dealer that sold this one a few years ago made me an offer on a newer one I couldn't refuse).
This 2012 BMW X5 M-Sport is a beautiful car to drive, very comfortable. It has fantastic road handling and performance, even with a full load. It has been regularly serviced since I bought it (receipts can be provided), and has never needed anything major doing to it other than the fuel injectors all needing to be replaced recently (which were all done under the 3yr mechanical warranty I bought). The car has no money owing (I always pay cash for my cars). Having just bought a much younger and lower kms version of exactly the same thing this is now surplus to requirements and will be sold to the highest bidder.
I am happy to help coordinate freight to anywhere in NZ (at buyers expense), or meet buyer at Nelson Airport to collect. The tyres are far from new but still warrantable, the drivers side car mat doesn't fix down anymore, there are a few very minor stone chips to the paintwork here and there, and the chrome trims around the windows have oxidized, but other than that I know of no defects or problems of any sort (including electrical, mechanical, cosmetic). As far as I know everything works as it should. The mechanical warranty is valid until September 2024.

Is there anything wrong with this car? v****3 (0 • 10:35 am, Mon, 6 MayNo nothing wrong with the car other than the 4 things I wrote in the auction detail (drivers mat moves, tyres far from new, chrome trim oxidizing in places and a few very minor stone chips). It is in excellent mechanical condition, always regularly serviced with whatever it needs done to it. I am only selling it as I always buy cars at around 80,000 km with a 3 year warranty, keep them for three years and sell them at around 180,000. Also forgot to mention the car got a new car battery June 2023, and the key fob I use got a new battery two months ago. As far as I know the head has never been off the engine. There has never been any issues with compression or loss of power other than when a couple of injectors failed, and we had all eight injectors replaced to make sure it doesn't happen again. The car has been regularly serviced at Richmond Auto and has always had anything done that it needed. 7j (1232 • Wednesday, 15 May 2024The backs of the back seats have a very useful 60/40 division (rather than all one piece or 50/50 division) so you can have one, two or three rear seats with the other folded flat to make room for large bulky items. The cargo net between the back seat and the boot can be up or down, the parcel tray hiding the boot in or out, or the whole cargo net/parcel tray unit can be very easily removed.
