You can set up your insurance in a few simple steps:

Head over to the Trade Me Insurance car quote section.
Enter the registration number of your car or enter the car details manually and fill in your address and driver details.
You’ll get a quote – which will ask you for a few more details. For example, if your car has any mods and accessories, if you’ve made any car insurance claims in the past 2 years, how long you’ve had your licence for and offer optional extras.
Confirms who the policy will cover – we need a bit more info about who will be driving the car – is it just you, or will someone else be driving it regularly?
