Site Outage
We had an issue with an internal application this morning that caused Trade Me to be offline from 10:45am to 11:10am. We pride ourselves on keeping the site up and apologise to everyone that was impacted by this.
All auctions that were due to close between 10:45am and 11:45am this morning have been extended by one hour. We are now in the process of ensuring this issue does not happen again.
New Open Homes section
Trade Me Property has launched Open Homes, a new category dedicated to properties with open home times.
You can search open homes from region to suburb, narrow by price and number of bedrooms, and also receive a weekly email with the latest open homes in your area.
Bigger photos in Trade Me Property
Are you selling a property? You can now add bigger photos (up to 800x600 pixels) to your listing, making it easier for browsers to view your property.
Any photos already on your listing will remain the same size, but you can re-upload your photos to take advantage of the new size.

New search suggestions
Our new search feature automatically suggests keyword matches as you type, providing helpful suggestions and quicker results.
For example, if you start typing ‘iPod’ into the search box above you’ll see 10 suggestions from our most frequently-searched iPod terms, including ‘iPod nano’, ‘iPod touch’ and ‘iPod charger’.
