Improvements to selling and relisting

Written by Trade Me staff at 10:29am, Thu 20 Oct 2005

When you relist an auction you can now change any pricing info and then jump straight to the confirmation page.

We’ve also added breadcrumbs at the top of the sell process to allow you to jump back to previous pages to make changes.

These new features are designed to make it faster and easier to sell on Trade Me.

Sellers can now export data from their Account for use in a spreadsheet or application. The "Export My Trade Me Account" link is located at the bottom of the My Trade Me Account page.

This feature is designed to assist sellers in the management of their sales process and track sales statistics. Learn more.

Category changes

Written by Trade Me staff at 4:25pm, Thu 13 Oct 2005

We have made a number of category changes across the site. If your item was listed in any of the categories that have been removed, you will be prompted to choose a different category when relisting. All of the other auction details including your photo will be carried over. If you have any feedback, please use the "contact us" link.

Credit card payments problem

Written by Trade Me staff at 10:16am, Thu 13 Oct 2005

There have been some problems with the NZ credit card processing network this morning between 6 am and 9 am which caused some credit card transactions to be declined.

If your credit card was declined please try again.

Changes to the feedback page

Written by Trade Me staff at 2:53pm, Tue 11 Oct 2005

After reading all the feedback comments, we've decided to make a change to the recent feedback change. We now only display the sale price on feedback for sold listings that have closed in the last 60 days.

Sale price will not be displayed on your feedback page if you purchased the item.

This ensures our original goal is still met, that is, that buyers can easily see the value of a seller’s previous sales and make an informed buying decision; but should reduce the perceived invasion of privacy.
