12:45pm: Intermittent technical problems

We’ve experienced some intermittent technical difficulties in the last 10 minutes which has affected Trade Me’s availability. This problem has been resolved and we’re working to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

7:45 pm: Problem with auctions closing

Unfortunately we have experienced a problem with auctions closing this evening. The issue has now been fixed, however there may still be some auctions waiting to close as we catch up with the backlog.

Email delivery to Yahoo addresses

We are experiencing some problems sending email to Yahoo email addresses. If you use Yahoo, your email from Trade Me may be delayed.

We are investigating the problem and apologise for any inconvenience this is currently causing.

Trade Me Motors has been improved to make it easier to find the cars or parts you are looking for. We have over 32,000 cars on the site right now – check it out!

New icon for brand new listings

We have updated the icon used for brand new items brand new item icon.

This icon now also appears on category pages and search results so you can tell an item is new without having to click into the listing.
