Mini category changes are a-brewing and a-looming
The Category Change team has been at it again and this time we've got something for the kids, and something for the grown-ups (beer lovers, to be precise).
For the youngins, there are new categories for Loom bands and New World Little Shop.

New: Hall of fame
Remember the handbag Tana used to hit his Hurricanes rugby teammate over the head with? How about ‘Rocky’ the boulder that smashed through a house? Surely you’ll remember the auction for the Jesus Christ-lookalike pita bread?
We’ve created a brand new home for memorable auctions we’ve had over the years, and it’s known as the Hall of fame. We’ve just kicked it off, and we’ll be adding to it over time with a bunch more memorable listings gracing its halls soon.

A makeover for the menswear category
We’ve made a change to the way search results are displayed in the Men’s department of the Clothing & Fashion category.
Starting today, when you’re in this category you’ll see a new visual page layout when searching and browsing. The appearance of each listing depends on our improved range of promotional products available in this category:
• Basic: Small image in search results.
• Gallery: Medium image in search results (2x larger than Basic) and higher position in the category.
• Feature: Large image in search results (4x larger than Basic) and best position in the category.
• Feature Combo: Highlights listing and includes all benefits of Feature. More...
The Starship Spring Clean 2014 is under way
We're stoked to be supporting the Starship Spring Clean again this year! It's a way for us to help out one of New Zealand's most awesome organisations, the Starship Children’s Foundation and will run through the month of September.
There are 3 things involved: list an item (preferably at $1 reserve), pledge to donate auction proceeds to Starship, and then donate once the item is sold.
It’s a win-win: while cleaning out your cupboards, you’ll also be raising money for a great cause. More...
A tweak to our Terms and conditions
We wanted to let you know that we've made two slight tweaks to our Terms and conditions to bring them in line with our recently updated Privacy policy.
The first change is to 6.2. We’re moving the following information out of 6.10 and into 6.2:
“If you wish to take Disputes Tribunal (or other) proceedings against another member, you can contact Trade Me for a statutory declaration form which must be completed before we will consider releasing anyone else's information to you. You may only request contact details for the sole purpose of making a claim.” More...
