- Log in and head to ‘My Trade Me’ where you’ll find options to send something you’ve sold onsite or send something else.
- Using our app? You’ll find ‘Book a courier’ in the Profile & Account section of 'My Trade Me'.
- Follow the simple steps to complete your booking.

1. Doorstep pick up
With a few simple steps your booking is made and your parcel can be collected from your doorstep - you don’t even need to be there for pick-up!
When it comes to wrapping your item, you can use packaging from around the house like an old shoebox, or robust shopping bag – it doesn’t need to look perfect, it just needs to be secure and packaged to arrive safely. Once collected, you can track it door to door.
2. Make it easy for buyers
Ideally, the shipping costs for your Trade Me items should be included in your listing. Be sure to add ‘Book a courier’ estimates when you’re listing to show buyers what they’ll be looking at paying to get your item in their hands. If they pay with Ping you’ll get the funds for shipping and your item instantly!
You can choose options including your preferred courier, or whether you want to offer signature or non-signature delivery options. You can edit your Trade Me listing if it’s already live and add ‘Book a courier’ estimates at any time before someone bids or clicks Buy Now.
What can you send with Book a courier on Trade Me?
You can use it to send anything across the country within reason. There are size limits and a max weight of 25kg – so, unfortunately, that floral couch is best for pick up only! Also there are some items that are restricted and can’t be couriered.
