Changes to the Top Seller programme

Pay Now transactions now incur a fee of 0.95% for Top Sellers. This is due to the increasing use of Pay Now and the bank fees we incur on these transactions.

For all other sellers, Pay Now transactions remain at 1.95% of the total purchase price.

12:45am: Trade Me site back

And we’re back, what a night. We had some issues this evening that affected our database clustering software at one of our data centres. This required us to implement our disaster recovery procedures to bring the site back up.

The site was unavailable from 9:05pm to 11:50pm Monday.

All auctions that were due to close between 9:05pm Monday and 5:00am Tuesday have been extended by 24 hours. More...

7:20pm: Site outage

Unfortunately Trade Me was offline for 15 minutes between 6:55pm and 7:10pm. Any auctions that were due to close during this time were extended by one hour.

We are looking into the cause and apologise to those affected members and will do whatever we can to prevent this happening again.

6:15pm: Site outage

Trade Me was unexpectedly offline for 20 minutes from 5:40pm to 6:00pm due to a fault with one of our database servers. Any auctions that were due to close during this time were extended by one hour.

We’re extremely sorry for the inconvenience this would have caused and we are currently looking at how we prevent this from reoccurring.
