Fastway rates adjustment
Fastway have advised us that they will be adjusting their rates for packages booked using our 'Book a courier' service. The rate change will be effective 2pm on Monday 3 September, for all new bookings.
The rate adjustments reflect a 5.1% increase across most Fastway products including, but not limited to:
• Very small / DLE bags (non signature) increasing from $2.43 to $2.54
• Very small / DLE bags (signature required) increasing from $3.31 to $3.48
• Small box, local delivery (signature required) increasing from $4.67 to $4.92
• The rural surcharge increasing from $4.66 to $4.90
An update to our Stores terms and conditions
On 4 September 2018, we'll be making some changes to our Stores terms and conditions.
The changes clarify how fees are charged and administered, and give us the option to create a Store banner and logo for you if you haven't provided us with one yet.
Android app firearms changes
From today, the updated Trade Me Android app won’t be able to facilitate the purchase or sale of firearms.
Google have recently updated the policy in their Play Store around firearms, and will no longer allow apps that facilitate the purchase or sale of firearms and related accessories. To make sure we meet these new rules, we've updated the Trade Me for Android app.
Members will be able to see and add firearms listings to their Watchlist, but won’t be able to list, edit existing listings, bid or buy firearms on the Android app.
