We have fixed the issue and are busy cleaning up the mess. Auctions that were due to close between 4:30am and 6am have been extended by two hours.

We are aware of issues with the site. Auctions are not closing at the moment and anything that tries to access older data will be failing. Our technical team are working on the issue and we'll post any updates here.

Small update to our listing policies

From 11 February, we'll be making an update to our listing policies.

This change will mean that sellers listing in the ‘Sports’ category may only have one listing per identical item.

Small category changes

Today we've added a 'New Zealand artist' category under 'Art', and made '3D Printers & supplies' a new category under 'Home > Computers'.

Over the next few weeks we'll also be making the following changes to a few categories:

• 'Smart watches' will become a new category under 'Jewellery & watches'
• 'Electric bikes' will become a new category under 'Sports > Cycling'
• The two categories 'Heart rate monitors' and 'Pedometers' will be merged and renamed 'Fitness trackers', under 'Home > Sports > Exercise equipment & weights'
• 'Home > Crafts > Knitting & Weaving > Wool' will be renamed to 'Home > Crafts > Knitting & Weaving > Yarn'
