Scheduled maintenance

Trade Me will be unavailable on Tuesday, 25 Sept between 5am and 6am for scheduled maintenance. All auctions that are due to close between 5am and 6am will be extended by two hours. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Afterpay limit increase

When we launched Afterpay on 6 September 2017, Afterpay was available on items up to the value of $800. We have since updated the maximum spend threshold of $1,200.

This allows sellers to offer Afterpay on a wider selection of their products, and buyers of higher value items can take advantage of buying now and paying later.

We've updated our privacy policy

As we annouced on 31 August, we've made a small change to our privacy policy.

In the next few months Trade Me Jobs is launching an applicant management system, making it easier for employers and recruiters to manage applicants.

This privacy policy change allows employers and recruiters to access job applications in the applicant management system, rather than just via email.
