Introducing: Help Me Choose

Don’t know where to start when looking for a car? Our new “Help Me Choose” tool is here to help!

From today on the desktop site, you can use Help Me Choose to select a lifestyle option for the car you’re after and we’ll give you search results to match. You can find Help Me Choose on the left-hand side of the Motors homepage, beneath the advanced car search.

Payment delays over Waitangi weekend

Due to the long weekend there will be a delay in processing payments to your Trade Me account made by phone or internet banking.

If you pay by these methods please be aware that payments made after 10pm Friday 5 February will not be processed until Tuesday 9 February.

Simplified pricing is here

As we announced a couple of weeks ago, from today we’ve changed the pricing when you list and sell General items on Trade Me. The pricing has been simplified and we’ve made it easier to create high-quality listings so we can help you sell more items.

Note that there are no fee changes for listings in Motors, Property and Jobs.

Payment issue - resolved

Yesterday evening we experienced an issue processing some credit card payments – sorry about any pain this caused you. Our upstream provider fixed this problem around 12:56 am so you should be able to use your credit or debit card on-site again.
