Payment gateway maintenance

The payment gateway we use is scheduling some maintenance on Monday, 18 September at 1.00 am for up to an hour. Credit and debit card payments (including top ups and purchases) may be unavailable during this period.

Issue with Buy Now resolved

Earlier today we had some issues which meant some members would have had trouble using Buy Now for a few hours this morning.

We're sorry for the muck up, and the issue has now been fixed.

The Shielded Site Project is now on Trade Me

We’re proud to have added the Shielded Site Project shield to the footer of Trade Me. The shield allows victims of domestic abuse to get information and help without it showing in their search history.

The Shielded Site Project was started by Women’s Refuge and Saatchi & Saatchi to help victims of domestic violence and is on a number of sites around the country including Countdown, Z and the Warehouse.

It’s something small we can do for Kiwis who need help and we’ll be telling members about it in our newsletters, Newsroom and social media. More...

Today we made some improvements to our ‘TVs' and 'Electronics & photography’ categories.

Re-named sub-categories:

TVs > Rear projection & CRT (renamed from Standard/CRT)
TVs > Plasma > 40-49" (Rename from TVs > Plasma > 42' and under)
TVs > Plasma > 50-60" (Rename from TVs > Plasma > 43' and over)
TVs > LCD > 40-49" (Rename from TVs > LCD > 40"+) More...

Supporting te reo Maori

We’ve taken a couple of small steps towards providing more support for te reo Maori.

We know we’re not perfect, as you may notice with the missing macrons in this announcement – our site technically can’t support them yet. Today’s changes are a small step, but the first of many and we hope you enjoy them.
