Halting the sale of semi-automatic weapons

We are halting the sale of semi-automatic weapons while we wait for more clarity from the Government.

We have listened to public sentiment following Friday’s terrorist attack in Christchurch and decided to remove all semi-automatic firearms sales and parts associated with those weapons today.

New! ‘Shop with camera’

If you have an iOS or Android device, we’ve got some good news for you. There’s now a whole new way to shop on Trade Me, using your phone’s camera.

From the Trade Me app on your mobile, take a photo of any item using the camera icon next to the search bar. Our image machine learning algorithm will return similar items that are listed onsite.

If you don’t already have our app, you can download it now on iOS and Android.
