Category changes: Mobile phones
We’re always looking for ways to improve how items are categorised on Trade Me, to better connect buyers and sellers in our marketplace.
As part of that work, we are making a bunch of changes to the Mobile phones category to better reflect the range of products available. We’re adding a lot of new accessory categories and a specific section for replacement parts and components. We’re also removing the carrier-specific categories to make browsing for devices easier. You can expect to see these changes effective from Monday 10 September.

We want to continually improve the browsing experience on Trade Me and there are several other category improvements in the pipeline. Please keep an eye out for any changes that may affect you as a seller. We’ll keep you updated on the major changes via our Site Announcements page.
