Wellington Zoo and Trade Me combine forces
We’ve proudly signed on again as a sponsor of the Wellington Zoo Trust, extending our relationship with the Zoo which began in 2010. We think it is a great fit for Trade Me, and the Zoo team understand that engaging with the large and active Trade Me community is a cool way to help raise the profile of the great work they do in Newtown and beyond.
Wellington Zoo have some neat attractions, and one we’re getting in behind is The Twilight Te Ao Mahina, the Zoo’s home for kiwi and tuatara. We’re also helping out with the Zoo’s kiwi advocacy and protection work.
Over time you may see more cool Zoo auctions pop up, like their recent auction to name a quartet of meerkats: the winning bidder came up with Runako & Sid (boys), and Hanna & Edda (girls). Keep your eye out for more on this front too.
