Trade Me Trust & Safety blog launched

To be an effective website, Trade Me needs to be trusted and safe. We seek to do that not only by helping Kiwis buy and sell, but by running a tight ship, helping members make sure they meet their legal and regulatory obligations, promoting good ‘netiquette’ and fixing the issues when people break that trust.

To help our members understand where we’re coming from, we've created the Trust & Safety blog.

To start with we've got a few posts you might want to check out:

-          Motors trader caught shill bidding on dollar reserves

-          Top ten ways to keep yourself safe on Trade Me

-          What is the Banned & Restricted Items list?

-          Can I sell dead seahorses on Trade Me?

Trade Me is a place where members come together to do business. Making sure members are clear on their responsibilities towards each other is a great way to help keep the site trusted and safe.  The Trust & Safety blog works towards that goal.
