Updating search on Trade Me

We've made some changes to the search function on Trade Me as we aim to enhance browsing and searching on the site.

When using the top search bar, you used to just see auto-suggest options. Now when searching you will see auto-suggest options and category suggestions, and you may also see your recent keyword searches.

Note that you must be logged into your Trade Me membership to see these recent searches, and you can enable, disable and clear your previous search terms at any time by clicking on the ‘Settings’ icon in the search box. You can also clear your recent search history by highlighting the search term and clicking the ‘X’ on the right-hand side. This is handy if you’re stealthily shopping for Christmas presents!
