A smarter way to repeat-sell on Trade Me

Today we’re excited to launch our new and improved multiple-quantity listings, designed to give you an easier and smarter way to repeat-sell your products on Trade Me.

What do I need to know?

If you're a seller (or even if you're a buyer), check out the video below for a brief introduction to using multiple-quantity listings.

For example, if you have 12 rubber duckies to sell you can use a single multiple-quantity listing to sell them all, setting the available stock at 12. This listing will be live for as long as you specify (up to 10 days) – and won’t close until all 12 duckies are sold, or the listing expires.

I buy stuff on Trade Me - is anything changing for me?

Yes - the number you get from a purchase is now a unique number that begins with a 'P', e.g. P1234567 (the P is for 'purchase reference number'). Each individual sale now generates its own purchase reference number, whether you buy from a multiple-quantity listing or a regular auction.

For more information about multiple-quantity listings, see the on-site help page, or contact us if you have any questions.
