New: Category Updates in Trade Me Jobs

We’re excited today to launch a new top-level category in Trade Me Jobs: Automotive. A top-level category is a major industry or category that then expands into further specialised areas (or sub-categories).

The sub-categories in Automotive are:
- Automotive technician
- Diesel mechanic
- Management
- Panel & paint
- Sales, operations & parts
- Other

We’re adding this category because lots of roles are being listed on Trade Me Jobs in the Automotive industry, and they outgrew their old home.

We’re also adding Health & Safety as a sub-category in two top-level categories – Construction & Architecture and HR & Recruitment.

We make changes to our categories from time to time, with the goal of making our site as user-friendly as possible – and to help you land your next role.
