You may have noticed our mascot Kevin the Kiwi sporting a nicely tailored pink shirt today – he’s acknowledging Pink Shirt Day. This cool initiative in New Zealand and around the world is aimed at raising awareness about the power to prevent bullying. Its goal is to reduce bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting the development of positive social relationships.

For more about Pink Shirt Day, check out the official website.

We're getting involved here at Trade Me HQ too by donning our pink shirts - keep an eye out for us on our Facebook page.

Hat-tip to one of our developers, Dan M (who has left Trade Me for the UK), who kicked off our involvement in Pink Shirt Day a few years back.
