Helping Christchurch businesses on December 7

Just a quick heads up on a little initiative we're helping out with in Christchurch on Tuesday 7 December. This short piece appeared in
The Press today...

"Businesses struggling to cope with the aftermath of the earthquake will now receive special help - from Trade Me and The Press.

"The joint initiative will help businesses which cannot trade normally - often because their buildings have been damaged - to go online to sell their goods.

"It is a small, genuine effort to help Canterbury businesses at a tough time.

"A team from Trade Me will fly to Christchurch, set up shop at The Press in Cathedral Square, and from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday, December 7, will help local business people set up a Trade Me account, list their stock online, and provide some free Trade Me credit as well to start selling goods around the country.

"Businesses interested in this opportunity are advised to book a slot by emailing quakerelief@trademe.co.nz."
